Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
Mail to Moon ("we", "us") provides email marketing services. This policy explains what personal data we handle and why.
1. Data we collect from our customers
When you contact us or open an account we collect your name, email address, company, phone number, billing details and the messages you send us. We use them to provide the service, bill you, support you and tell you about important changes.
2. Data our customers upload
Customers upload their own contact lists and email content. For that data, the customer is the controller and we are the processor: we store and use it only to send the customer's emails and to produce their reports (deliveries, opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes). We never sell it or use it for our own marketing.
3. Tracking in emails
Emails sent through Mail to Moon may contain a small image and redirected links so our customers can see whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. Recipients can block images in their email app to avoid open tracking, and every email contains a working unsubscribe link.
4. Where data is stored
Data is stored on servers we operate in Europe and is protected with encryption in transit, access controls and regular backups. Access is limited to staff who need it to run the service.
5. How long we keep data
We keep account data while your account is active and as required for tax and accounting. Customer contact data is deleted within 90 days after an account is closed, except for unsubscribe and complaint records, which we keep so those people are never emailed again.
6. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data. If you received an email from one of our customers, use its unsubscribe link or contact the sender; you can also contact us.
7. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and, for important changes, tell our customers by email.
