What is allowed

You may email people who gave you clear permission to email them: for example by signing up on your website, at your shop, or as customers who agreed to receive marketing.

What is not allowed

• Purchased, rented, shared or scraped lists.
• Emailing addresses copied from websites or social media.
• Misleading sender names or subject lines.
• Content that is unlawful, deceptive, phishing or malware, or that promotes illegal products.

Every email must

• Clearly show who it is from.
• Contain a working unsubscribe link (we add one automatically).
• Include your postal address.

How we enforce it

We watch bounce and complaint rates on every campaign. Invalid addresses, complaints and unsubscribes are removed automatically and permanently. Accounts with high complaint rates are paused while we review them together with the customer.

Report abuse

If you received an unwanted email sent through Mail to Moon, please tell us and forward the email. We investigate every report.
